Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Gewurztraminer Roche Calcaire, 2014 zin with lovely acidity to balanceAfter a rough yield, three Grand Cru sites of Gewrztraminer were combined to make this cuve. It is subtly floral and spicy with orange peel notes as well. Despite an earlier harvest, the wine keeps its classic weight and is off dry with slightly more acidity than you'd expect. It is emblematic of what good fresh Gewrztraminer can be. Pair it with smoked meats, fishes, or anything spicy.
