The main pattern is transfer printed with highlights, accents, shading and color all hand painted by artists of the English pottery firm. It has a navy border with acanthus leaf borders with gilded trim. I believe they are by Reuben Hague or were done under his direction while at Crown Ducal. I have had several other plates from Crown Ducal which were signed by Hague himself. These
