Monteraponi Chianti Classico DOCG, 2023 old elk 66% Pinot NoirThis wine is made of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo. Fermentation in cement, followed by oak aging for 16 months makes for a floral and minerally expression of Chianti with a comforting note of baking spice. We would pair this with Peposo, a traditional Tuscan black pepper beef stew, braised with Chianti. The Monteraponi estate is located in the village of Radda, situated in the heart of Chianti. Fruit comes from vineyards planted at 400 500 meters
