Holmberg, the hotel featured a spacious lobby and dining room as well as a wrap around lanai. In 1929 the "Maui Grand," as it was now called, underwent an extensive renovation adding an entirely new 25 room wing, bringing the total rooms to 61, making it the largest hotel in Maui County through the end of WWII.
