All of the moving parts of asynchronous style pumps can be replaced in one simple operation. Many pumps can be repaired by inserting a new impeller assembly. The operation requires only a screwdriver and 5 minutes. Manufacturing impellers often includes trimming on a lathe to achieve balance and or testing to ensure quality.
