Victorian Birds and Nest Brooch horseshoe The base remains uncarvedDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 An incredible antique brooch fashioned as two birds and a nest full of eggs. The quality is exceptional, crafted in 15 karat gold, with excellent attention to detail. The birds have ruby cabochon eyes, and the eggs are each finished in a different colour of enamel.
