The grapes benefit from dirunal shift, or warm days combined with cool nights, being up in the northern Italian mountains. Schiava is naturally a very light and elegant wine, and shines in that is bright, fruity, and easily drinkable. Pair it with a spicier pizza or pasta dish for a pleasant combination of light fruit
