The pattern is called Byzanta Phoenix. This uniquely patterned plate has a soft sheet pattern in blue across the face while the border is a phoenix in reds and yellow set against a black and cobalt ground. The contrast between the blue chintz and the black border is so striking. Measures appx 4 Condition: No chips or cracks. There is a little crazing and wear around
