It dates from the Georgian period, circa 1830 and the stones, closed and foil backed creating a gorgeous shimmer and brightness throughout. Crafted in 15k gold with small pommels details. Paste gemstones were popular throughout the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras. It is a special type of flint glass that emulates a number of gemstones. The
