The term giardinetti comes from the Italian for "little gardens" and was used to describe jewellery from the beginning of the 18th century that resembled flowers
Victorian Aquamarine and Diamond Cluster Onyx circa 1820-40Victorian aquamarine ring with a surround of beautiful old mine cut diamonds in a cluster setting, set in 18ct gold. The central aquamarine is approximately 85 points, there are approximately 90 points of old mine cut diamonds in total. There is a rubbed 18ct mark inside the shank. Circa 1870.
