The cabinet has some of the finest carvings we have seen on a late 19th century cabinet, In two sections. The top with a stepped crown and a carved 'brickwork' band below, the hinged front (with original lock & key) is flanked by a pair of carved nude caryatid supports. The drop front is lavishly carved with a Bacchanalian scene of cherubs with a lion cub,
