the gilt upper section designed as an arc of graduated spheres
The blue glass is surrounded by rose cut diamonds and the gold trifurcated shank is decorated with a silver set diamond leaf on both sides
Victorian Opal and Rose Cut Diamond Pendant Chrysolite the piece remains in overallA super sparkly opal and rose diamond Victorian pendant set in 18ct gold and silver circa 1880 90. There are approximately 1. 5 carats of rose diamonds in this piece. The overall measurement of the pendant is 24. 30mm with the bale adding an extra one centimetre. The opal has a lovely play of colour. In generally very good condition but two tiny chips to the opal under the setting edge at north and south only visible from the reverse of the pendant.
