There are glistening silver crystals in the Feldspar that make Larvikite a recognizable stone. The flash from the silver crystals is due to high amounts of potassium, sodium and calcium in the Feldspar. Discovered in Larvik, Norway, is how the stone got its name. Its the national rock of Norway and GHSR (Global Heritage Stone Resource). Larvikite
