Side metal zipper and small areas of gathers over the hips

there's about an inch of seam allowance

lightly padded shoulders and pointed cuffed sleeves

The front hemline is tulip shaped

1940s Rayon Tricot Nightgown by Rodgers shrug 5" waist but the belt1940s cap sleeve nightgown in super soft rayon tricot. Bodice has lace insets and separate waist piece. Excellent condition with some loss of thread that held the shirring in place, see photos. I didn't note any holes or staining. Shown on a size 2 form but should fit up to a medium. Tag reads a size 38. Shoulder: 13" Bust: 34" flat and unstretched, will fit a 38" as stated Waist: 28" flat, stretching easily to 30" Hip: pretty free due to a line cut
